Note: The following setting information

applies to the primary and secondary master

and slave devices.

Each device menu item displays the hard

drive or CD-ROM identifier if a device is

installed.

If you install a hard drive that does not feature

auto IDE type detection or your IDE hard

drive was formatted on another system with

parameters different from those reported by

the drive, enter a parameter for each of the

fields in the device submenu.

Bring up a device submenu by pressing

Enter. The submenus include Type, CHS

Format, and LBA Format. Each submenu and

its fields are described next.
