5.1 CONFIGURING ARRAYS AND LOGICAL DRIVES

This section describes how to configure arrays and logical drives.

Step 1

Choose Wizard from the

Configuration menu.

The Wizard screen appears.

Choose [Custom] or

[Automatic] mode and click

on [Next].

Go to Step 4 if you choose

[Automatic] mode.

NOTE: Types of Configuration

You can choose either Custom or Automatic configuration.

Type Description

Custom Set parameters to define the arrays and logical drives.

Select this option if you have specific requirements for the RAID system.

Automatic Wizard automatically sets all parameters and defines arrays and logical

drives. Click on the [Redundancy] box to configure the redundant arrays.

Select this option to configure an optimal RAID system.
