CHAPTER 9. INSTRUCTION SET

The 75X series instruction set is an improved and expanded version of old

PD7500 series instruction set. It is

a revolutionary new instruction set which retains succession from the

PD7500 series. The

PD75402A instruction

set is a 75X instruction subset, and has the following features:

(1) Multipurpose bit manipulation instruction

(2) Efficient 4-bit manipulation instruction

(3) 8-bit data transfer instruction

(4) Stack instructions and base correction instructions with increase program efficiency

(5) Table reference instructions suitable for continuous reference

(6) 1-byte relative branch instruction

(7) Easy to understand NEC standard mnemonics
